A motorcyclist — later identified as a 38-year-old man from Rancho Mirage — died in a traffic collision on Highway 74 on Saturday afternoon, June 6.
The crash just after 3 p.m. Saturday involved another motorcycle and a third vehicle, with a witness telling the California Highway Patrol that a motorcycle went off the road and down a roadway embankment near Carrizo Road on the Palms to Pines Scenic Byway.
