A reported chemical spill that created a vapor cloud prompted a large HazMat response Wednesday morning at a manufacturing facility in Garden Grove.
Orange County Fire Authority crews and Garden Grove police responded at approximately 11:26 a.m. on September 9, 2026, to CD Video Manufacturing at 12650 Westminster Avenue.
According to preliminary information, two chemicals spilled near the rear of the facility and mixed, causing a reaction that produced a vapor cloud. An OCFA HazMat team made entry into the facility to assess the scope of the incident and determine what materials were involved…
