Olga Mendez, 44, of Menifee, was arrested on Friday, in connection with a violent incident that unfolded on the morning of December 18 in Winchester, an unincorporated area of Perris. Initially reported as a domestic dispute, deputies dispatched to Olive Avenue and Leon Road discovered a more harrowing scene-a kidnapping coupled with assault with deadly weapon, revealed in a release by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
