Westminster police Thursday were looking for two suspects involved in the shooting of a man in a car with an 8-month-old baby and woman.
Police were dispatched about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday to Goldenwest Street and Trask Avenue regarding the shooting.

A man fired multiple times into a car occupied by a man, woman and their eight-month-old daughter, police said. The driver suffered gunshot wounds that were not considered life-threatening, and the woman and the baby escaped injury, police said.
Investigators suspect the victim was “targeted,” but they did not disclose details about any potential motive, which was considered unclear, police said.
The two suspects fled in a black car, police said. A photo of the suspect vehicle was released to help generate leads, which can be called into detectives at 714-548-3810 or 714-898-3767. Orange County Crime Stoppers will accept anonymous tips at 855-TIP-OCCS.
