Police are searching for three suspects accused of stealing cash and credit cards from an Orange County gym and attempting to go on a shopping spree.
On the afternoon of Dec. 17, the suspects — two men and a woman — entered the CycleBar gym in Irvine.
Two suspects worked to distract a gym employee while a third suspect stole a master key for customers’ lockers.
The key was used to open victims’ lockers as the suspects stole credit cards and around $1,200 in cash, police said.
The group then attempted to use the stolen cards to make an $11,000 purchase at a nearby mall.
The thieves’ images were captured on surveillance video and authorities are asking for the public’s help to identify them.
