A 3.9 magnitude earthquake struck near the San Francisco Bay Area on Monday evening, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The earthquake struck at 7.46 p.m. PT about three miles northwest of Dublin, California, at a depth of around seven miles, according to the USGS. It was originally measured at a magnitude of 4.2, but was subsequently downgraded.
No injuries or property damage have been reported following the incident, but 13,000 people said they had felt shaking.
