BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A Santa Ana man was arraigned Friday on charges alleging he traveled to Bakersfield and intended to engage in a sex act with a 14-year-old girl he met online while playing Fortnite.
Sergio Estrada, 19, had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf by Kern County Public Defender Peter Kang to five felony counts: child stealing, exhibiting harmful material to a minor, two counts related to contacting a minor to commit a sex act, and possession of matter depicting a minor engaged in sexual conduct.

Court Commissioner Samantha Allen set bail at $100,000 and issued a criminal protective order barring Estrada from contacting the girl. He’s due back in court June 26.
