Costco is gearing up to launch its first stand-alone gas station in Mission Viejo, California, which is located just outside Los Angeles.
Experiencing success with their gas offerings, the wholesaler’s move could be spurred by its sales triumph. CEO Ron Vachris disclosed in April that prolonged gas station opening times brought about two of the “all-time highest gallon weeks” for Costco.
