Ti Amo Italian Ristorante brings Laguna Beach legacy to Idaho dining scene

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Ti Amo Italian Ristorante, a family-owned restaurant with roots in Laguna Beach, California, has brought its unique blend of upscale casual dining to Idaho. The restaurant, which opened its doors in July of last year, is the brainchild of partners Nick Terrafranca and Nikolai Castoro, who sought to honor their beginnings in the restaurant industry.

Ti Amo originally started as a family venture in Laguna Beach, where Terrafranca and Castoro worked as kids. “Ti Amo was their first restaurant in Laguna Beach, California,” Terrafranca said, referring to the Castoros, owners of Barbacoa. “We used to work there as kids and we used to host and clean it.”

The restaurant’s menu, crafted by Executive Chef Enrique Martinez, features a variety of pastas, seafood dishes and wood-fired pizzas, all made with house-made dough and sauces. “Chef Enrique is our main executive chef that oversees all five locations: Barbacoa, Coa Del Mar, Coa de Jima, Nick’s Italian Ristorante and Ti Amo,” Terrafranca said…
