A live snake, a replica skeleton and chemistry equipment were among the stolen items recovered as three suspects, including a juvenile, were arrested in connection with the vandalism of a San Gabriel Valley high school, police said Tuesday.
The break-in took place around midnight on July 20 when the suspects entered Whittier High School through a window.
“Not only did the suspects cause approximately $10,000 worth of damages, but they also stole approximately $12,000 worth of items from multiple classrooms, including a live snake,” the Whittier Police Department stated in its post on Facebook…
