Residents displaced, bunnies saved in Orange County apartment fire

More than two dozen residents were displaced, including two who were injured, when a fire erupted in a Santa Ana apartment complex early Thursday morning.

Flames broke out around 2 a.m. in the two-story complex located on the 2800 block of North Bristol Street.

Responding firefighters found the flames had already taken hold of two upstairs units and were threatening to spread further, the Orange County Fire Authority stated in its post on X.

Crews attacked the fire aggressively, containing the flames to the two original units, while simultaneously searching for victims…
