Two 19-year-old Cal State Fullerton students are currently hospitalized in critical condition after being hit by a white box truck while driving electric scooters at the intersection of Associated Road and Yorba Linda Boulevard on Sept. 27.
According to the Fullerton Police Department, the two females and the truck were travelling southbound on Associated Road at around 7:00 p.m. when the collision happened.
The girls were identified as Lauren Turner and Ashlyn Gwynn and are both part of the CSUF women’s soccer team, according to a CSUF women’s soccer player and friend of the victims…
