Raw’s Juice & Smoothie offers fresh fruit and vegetable juices, wellness drinks, and smoothies. According to the health inspection report, the restaurant was suggested to close for multiple major violations, prompting its closure. Some of them are:
- The inspection noted visible signs of rodent activity in several areas of the facility. Rodent droppings were observed on the floor near the back door beneath storage racks, in the restroom’s left corner, beneath the sink, and on the floor in the front prep area.
- The report said the establishment must eliminate rodent activity using only approved methods and remove all evidence of infestation.
- The report notes food residue on cooler handles, surfaces, and equipment like juicers and blenders.
- A residential electric griddle was found in use during inspection. The griddle is not considered commercial-grade or ANSI-approved, as mentioned in the official assessment.
- The operators were instructed to remove items not necessary for the business’s operation and to store all equipment six inches off the floor for proper cleaning and contamination prevention.
