The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose a half-cent to $4.429 Monday, one day after dropping a half-cent to its lowest amount since Jan. 3, 2025.
The average price is 1.8 cents less than one week ago, 22.1 cents lower than one month ago and seven-tenths of a cent below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.. It has dropped $2.065 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price dropped to its lowest amount since Dec. 20, 2024, decreasing four-tenths of a cent to $4.306. It is 2.2 cents less than one week ago, 26 cents lower than one month ago and 7.8 cents below what it was one year ago…
