Motorcyclist wanted for armed robbery in Southern California

Investigators in Riverside County are asking for the public’s help in locating an armed robbery suspect who shot off a round before robbing a local business late last year.

In a news release, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said the incident occurred on Dec. 4 around 11 p.m. at a business in the 1100 block of Calimesa Boulevard in Calimesa.

Deputies from the department’s Cabazon Station responded to the business, but the suspect had already fled the scene.

“Upon arrival, deputies learned the suspect entered the business, discharged a firearm and demanded cash from the employee then fled area toward Interstate 10,” the release noted.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic adult male wearing dark blue jeans, a black jacket with an orange hood and dark-colored shoes. The man was also wearing a black motorcycle helmet with a sticker that read “Pedo Hunter.”…
