- Philip Louie, MD, is medical director of research and academics for the Center for Neurosciences and Spine at Seattle-based Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, and a practicing spine surgeon. He recently launched SpineBase, a new website designed to centralize spine measurement education, including how-to guidance, normal ranges and research-backed references. Dr. Louie hopes the platform will grow into a broader hub for spine learning and collaboration.
