The UCI Health Center for Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders announced the passing of Dr. Robin Steinberg-Epstein in December 2025. She served as an HS Clinical Professor and Division Chief of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics at the UC Irvine School of Medicine and dedicated over two decades to supporting children and adolescents with developmental and behavioral challenges.
Her family has created the Dr. Robin Steinberg-Epstein Memorial Endowment to continue her legacy. Gifts made to the fund between January 29 and December 31, 2026 will be matched 2:1, up to $33,000, by an anonymous donor.
