A 21-year-old mother from Orange County has been missing since March 15, after she allegedly left her home to visit family in Tijuana, Mexico.
Yasmin Gonzalez Benitez was last seen at her home on the 900 block of Pine Street in Santa Ana, according to the Santa Ana Police Department. She told her roommate that she was leaving to visit family in Tijuana and would be back later that evening.
Benitez left her 4-year-old daughter with her roommate and never returned. Her daughter is now in the care of Child Protective Services.
Benitez is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall with medium blonde hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a green jacket and blue jeans…
