FOREST LAKE, Calif. (WJW) — Spatial awareness can be challenging. Sometimes it seems like you should be able to fit somewhere, but alas, no. On Easter Sunday, one deer got in such a predicament.
Firefighters were called to a park in Forest Lake, California, for a reports of a deer stuck in a metal fence.
Somehow the deer got “tightly wedged between its hips and ribs,” the Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) said in a social media post, and it wasn’t clear how long it had been there.
The firefighters had to use a saw to get through the fence, as seen in the video at the top of the story, and gently pull the animal out…
