A new toy-sharing box at Baby Beach is giving families a simple option: take a toy, leave a toy.
Installed on Sunday, April 26, by local environmental nonprofit Stand Up to Trash, the box is the first of its kind in Orange County and is already drawing attention from beachgoers.
“It was really cute to see it in action,” said Vicki Patterson, founder and president of Stand Up to Trash. “We had our first little customer, a 2-year-old, picking out a toy with his mom. People kept stopping to read it and check it out.”…
