OUACHITA PARISH, La. (KNOE) – The Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal announced a West Monroe woman has been arrested in connection with an April house fire.
Authorities said they arrested 24-year-old Toneisha Shaw on June 21 in Dallas, Texas, on an outstanding warrant obtained by the State Fire Marshal’s Office. Investigators extradited Shaw to Ouachita Parish on June 25 and booked her on a charge of insurance fraud.
According to officials the arrest follows an investigation into a house fire reported around 10 p.m. April 9 in the 500 block of Mitchell Lane in West Monroe. The West Monroe Fire Department responded to the fire…
