Parts of Duncanville and surrounding communities were without electricity last night as Oncor crews worked on critical equipment, with the outage potentially stretching into this morning. Residents were warned that restoration could take several hours while crews completed the necessary repairs.
In an evening update, the Duncanville Police Department said Oncor crews were making repairs and working to restore service “as quickly and safely as possible.” The update also included Spanish-language information and said additional notices would be shared as they became available.
