North Texas’ favorite fall tradition, the State Fair of Texas, kicks off its 24-day run on Friday.
This year’s theme, “Stars, Stripes and Howdies,” commemorates two important dates: the 250th birthday of the United States of America and the 140th anniversary of the Fair, so expect to see Fair Park decked out in its patriotic best.
