IRVING, Texas – A MacArthur High School science teacher who helped one of her students discover a passion for science has received national recognition from Yale University.
Jennifer Espinoza, MacArthur’s science department chair and a teacher at the Irving ISD school for 14 years, has been named a recipient of the 2026 Yale Educator Award. The honor recognizes educators who inspire students and support them in reaching high levels of achievement.
