The Texas Stock Exchange began trading its first corporate primary listings Monday in Dallas, moving nearly $100 billion in market value onto the new exchange.
Energy Transfer, Sunoco, SunocoCorp and USA Compression Partners transferred their primary listings to TXSE at the start of trading October 5. The Texas Stock Exchange said those four Energy Transfer-affiliated companies are the exchange’s first primary corporate listings and together represent nearly $100 billion in market capitalization. The securities kept their tickers: ET, SUN, SUNC and USAC. Energy Transfer also moved its 9.250% Series I preferred units.
Dillard’s transferred the same day. The Little Rock-based retailer said it would voluntarily move its Class A common stock and the 7.50% capital securities of Dillard’s Capital Trust I from the New York Stock Exchange to TXSE, with trading on the New York exchange ending after the October 2 close and TXSE trading beginning at the October 5 open. The tickers stay DDS and DDT. No action was required of shareholders. Dillard’s said the move lines up with its Texas footprint.
