Two years after Fireside Pies closed its Grapevine Main Street doors, a new Italian-American restaurant is taking shape in the space. The Dutch, from Noti Krasniqi, owner of Mio Nonno Trattoria in Flower Mound, is coming together at 1285 S. Main St.
Progress is easy to spot. New signage is up, the exterior has been painted, and interior renovations continue. Inside, the space has been reimagined with a warm, stylish, upscale look that still feels comfortable and inviting.
The Grapevine location of Fireside Pies, which opened in 2007, built a following on artisan pizzas, hearty pastas, and fresh salads. The Dutch will carry the Italian tradition forward with modern American-Italian cuisine, elevated versions of familiar favorites, and prices designed to stay approachable.
