Battling heart disease one swing at a time, the City of Arlington is inviting the public to join in on their 14th Annual Charity Golf Tournament. Happening on Monday, Sept. 30, the green grounds of Tierra Verde Golf Club will play host to a day filled with swings, putts, and hopefully, a good few hole-in-ones for a cause that keeps beating at the core of the nation’s health concerns. Heart disease isn’t joking around as the leading killer in the United States, and Arlington’s event is stepping up as part of a series of fundraising efforts to combat this relentless adversary.
