The City of Dallas is ramping up its community safety initiatives with a new training course to prepare residents for emergencies and disasters. According to an announcement by the City of Dallas Office of Emergency Management & Crisis Response, a free Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Basic Training Course will take place this September, imbuing locals with the know-how for crisis situations.
