Carrollton Schedules Mosquito Spraying After Positive West Nile Virus Tests

Dallas County Health and Human Services (DCHHS) has confirmed two mosquito samples testing positive for West Nile Virus (WNV) in Carrollton, prompting the city to take immediate action.  The samples were collected from mosquito management areas 6B and 7B, which include neighborhoods between Belt Line Road, Josey Lane, Keller Springs Road and Carrollton’s eastern city limits, as well as the area bordered by Broadway Street, Belt Line Road, Josey Lane and Valwood Parkway.
