Derrick Henry contract: Ravens RB makes Cowboys pay for not signing him this offseason with big Week 3

Derrick Henry took his crown back in the Ravens’ win over the Cowboys on Sunday.

Baltimore’s running back dashed all over Dallas’ defense, rumbling for a season-high 151 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries to anchor a 28-25 victory.

The veteran workhorse looked like he was running to prove a point, and there’s a strong chance he viewed this as a revenge game. The Ravens signed Henry to a two-year contract this offseason — and they were one of the only teams to show interest in the 30-year-old free agent.

The Cowboys were in desperate need of running back help but reportedly never reached out for Henry’s services.

Did the Dallas’ lack of interest in Henry inspire him to a season-best performance? It’s certainly a possibility.
