Texas Coach Steve Sarkisian Took a Helicopter to Watch a Five-Star With a $933K NIL Valuation

The Texas Longhorns already have the No. 6 class in the country, but they are far from done on the recruiting trail for the 2025 recruiting class.

Three five-star commits currently headline their class, and head coach Steve Sarkisian and offensive line coach Kyle Flood are working towards adding another. While notching another five-star to the class would be a huge success for Texas and their spot in the rankings, it would also make it that much sweeter if they do land this one in particular, considering he is committed to Oklahoma.

The recruit in question is five-star offensive tackle Michael Fasusi out of Lewisville, Texas. Sarkisian made sure to make it known to Fasusi that the Longhorns are still very much interested in adding him to their class, as the Texas head coach pulled up in a helicopter to watch him play.

On top of ranking as the No. 12 player in the class of 2025 according to 247Sports ‘ Composite Rankings, Fasusi also is viewed as having one On3 ‘s highest NIL Valuations in college athletics. He ranks as the No. 79 athlete with a valuation of $933,000.
