DALLAS, TX (KDAF) – If you want a photograph that’ll last the test of time, there’s a Dallas business perfect for that.
Fox Tintype is the only tintype photography studio in Dallas. They use a photographic method dating back to the 1850’s called Wet Plate Collodion. Each image is made out of metal on metal and varnished to seal and protect the image. They’ll last at least 175 years, although probably much longer than that.
Zachary Fox was introduced to tintype photography in 2019 and fell in love with the process. During the pandemic he wanted to change professions. Tintype gave him creative expression and let him provide a service and joy to others.
