Dallas police are investigating an early Saturday morning drive-by shooting at North Stemmons Freeway and Inwood Road that seriously injured two women. 38-year-old Nikki James says she was heading home in a private ride she hired with her 20-year-old daughter after a night out when someone pulled up on them, opened fire and sped off.
