Kaufman police seek public’s help in locating missing Farmers Branch man

KAUFMAN, Texas — The Kaufman Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in finding 49-year-old Rigoberto Badillo, of Farmers Branch, Texas. Badillo was last seen after being released from the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Department early Monday morning.

Badillo, a Hispanic male, was released at approximately 1:00 a.m. on January 20, 2025, from 1900 East US Hwy 175 in Kaufman, Texas. His personal belongings were found abandoned near the building’s front doors, according to the Kaufman Police Department. Surveillance footage captured him at 1:18 a.m. in the parking lot near the Kaufman County Pet Adoption Center, adjacent to the East Hwy 175 service road.

Family members reported Badillo missing at around 12:40 p.m. on the same day. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, black Nike Air Max shoes, and blue jeans. Badillo has tattoos on his left hand, left arm, and right shoulder and is not believed to be carrying any identification or a cell phone…
