Shelter-in-place issued in Irving due to police investigation

The Irving Police Department announced a shelter-in-place for residents near the 800 block of Lake Carolyn Pkwy. They are currently investigating an incident that occurred Friday.

Irving police shared the announcement via X, advising the public to avoid the area or stay put at home. Southbound traffic is completely blocked as well.
