DALLAS, Texas — Dallas police officers were kept busy on February 14 and 15, 2025, responding to various incidents, including an assault and multiple shootings, according to a press release from the department.
On February 15, 2025, at approximately 12:25 a.m., officers responded to a disturbance call in the 8700 block of Ferguson Road. The preliminary investigation revealed that 24-year-old Jocelyn Soto was involved in an argument with the victim and subsequently punched them. Soto was arrested and charged with assault. Later that morning, at about 1:25 a.m., officers were dispatched to a shooting in the 1200 block of Cedar Haven Avenue.
