An American Airlines flight from Dallas-Fort Worth to Columbia Regional Airport was diverted back to Texas after a deicing truck at COU reportedly malfunctioned, according to Columbia Regional Airport Manager Mike Parks.
American Airlines flight 5011 left DFW at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday and was scheduled to arrive in Columbia around 6:15 p.m., but the flight was redirected back to Dallas. The plane landed in DFW at 6:38 p.m., according to FlightAware.
