Pacific cold front crashes into South Texas on Wednesday. Here’s what to expect.

8:45 a.m. update: A plume of dust from West Texas has made its way eastward and was causing hazy skies and lower visibility across the San Antonio area. As of 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, visibility had dropped to 4 miles at San Antonio International Airport. According to satellite imagery, the dust was still moving eastward, and should clear out of the San Antonio area by 10 a.m. Wednesday. Until then, you can expect hazy skies and reduced air quality.

We’ve had a warm start to the week in South Texas as San Antonio temperatures have risen into the mid-80s both Monday and Tuesday. Southerly winds also have brought a touch of humidity back into the area.
