DALLAS, Texas — A 17-year-old, Casey Smith, was found shot in a car on the 1500 block of E. Overton Road on March 23, 2025, around 5:30 p.m., according to the Dallas Police Department. Smith was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation revealed that Smith was initially shot in the 3500 block of Ramona Avenue and subsequently drove himself to the 1500 block of E. Overton Road, where he crashed into a fence.
