An Irving Police officer’s routine traffic stop on Monday night, April 7th, resulted in the arrest of a 26-year-old man who provided false information and attempted to flee.
The driver, identified as Tubbie Dwayne Shelton Jr., was pulled over for a traffic violation. According to police, Shelton was uncooperative and gave the officer false identifying information. During the investigation, Shelton attempted to escape on foot but was apprehended after a brief pursuit.
