Dallas police officer arrested for DWI with a child passenger, officials say

DALLAS — An off-duty Dallas police officer was arrested Friday on a complaint of driving while intoxicated with a child passenger, officials said.

Dallas Police Sgt. Matthew Terry was arrested by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) on a complaint of DWI with a child passenger, a state jail felony, the department confirmed. Terry was off-duty at the time, officials said.
