DFW Airport ground stop issued after ‘possible security issue’ on plane

DALLAS — A brief ground stop was issued at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport on Wednesday afternoon due to a possible security issue on an aircraft, officials said.

The ground stop was issued shortly after noon on Wednesday. It was eventually lifted following an investigation. The passengers on board the plane in question were allowed to re-board after being deplaned for an official search by authorities.

The flight then took off with no issues just after 4 PM…
