DALLAS, Texas — A surveillance operation by North Central C.R.T. officers led to the arrest of two wanted felons, 41-year-old Zachery McCarter and 43-year-old Jessica McCarter, on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. The suspects were linked to multiple offenses, including robbery and burglary, across cities such as Tulsa, Richardson, and Dallas.
The operation’s success was attributed to the diligent investigative work by officers and detectives the day before the arrest, according to a press release from the department. Surveillance footage captured the suspects using a stolen U-Haul van connected to recent burglaries in North Dallas. This footage enabled officers to establish a surveillance perimeter, resulting in the arrests.
