Dallas man arrested for making threats against ICE agents on social media, DOJ announces

DALLAS — The Department of Justice (DOJ) accused an undocumented immigrant from Mexico residing in Dallas of making threats against ICE agents.

According to a release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eduardo Aguilar, a 23-year-old immigrant living in Dallas, was federally charged for “transmitting in interstate or foreign commerce a communication containing a threat.”

The charge stems from a social media post authorities claim Aguilar made, which translates from Spanish to say “I need 10 dudes in Dallas with determination who aren’t afraid to [skull emojis].” The post also includes text that translates to “10k for each ICE agent.”…
