Man with autism reported missing in Hurst is found safe at home, police say

A 28-year-old man with high-functioning autism has been found safe the day after he was reported missing from North East Mall in Hurst, police said on Wednesday.

The man had watched a movie with a group on Tuesday afternoon, and the group’s caretaker told Hurst police that he was last seen about 4:30 p.m. inside of the Cinemark theater.
