A Dallas-area mansion makes history as the most expensive public sale in Texas this year, according to the Dallas Business Journal.
The home, located in University Park—a suburb north of downtown Dallas—was listed for $35 million on Oct. 31. After two months, the Journal reports the home at 6601 Hunters Glen Road sold for $30.5 million, making it the largest Texas home sale of the year.
The home was built in 1927 and has had several owners. Public records show the home was last sold in January 2021 for an undisclosed price, but was listed for $22,500,000. Before that it was bought by another owner in March 2013, also for an undisclosed price after being listed for $19,500,000…
