TARRANT COUNTY, Texas — A Tarrant County Jail inmate died Sunday after being found unresponsive in her cell, officials say.
Officials say life-saving measures were administered by medical personnel from John Peter Smith Correctional Health after the 40-year-old woman was found unresponsive in her cell Dec. 21. The woman was taken to JPS Hospital for care, where she died later Sunday afternoon, according to a press release.
