Sand Branch residents continue decades-long fight for running water

DALLAS — The fight continues for a small, historic North Texas community’s efforts to bring clean running water to the area. Dozens of people living in the Dallas neighborhood of Sand Branch say they’ve gone without water for decades. Advocates discussed their latest efforts to bring running water to dozens of homes.

Longtime Sand Branch resident Ms. Betty says she has lived in the community, which is about 15 miles south of downtown Dallas, for most of her 75 years.
