Aw Shucks was founded by Robert “Bob” Peterson, a visionary restaurateur with a passion for Gulf seafood and a knack for laid-back dining experiences. Today, the restaurant is still a family-run operation, overseen by Bob’s son, Nick Peterson, who continues to uphold the values that made Aw Shucks a neighborhood institution.
