Officials said the blaze was brought under control while teams moved through the buildings, clearing units and securing the scene. Officials: Fire Controlled, Crews Clearing Scene
According to a post from the Lewisville Police Department on Facebook, officers and Lewisville Fire Department personnel were on scene at the Avery Apartments and reported the fire as “under control” while crews continued clearing the area. The department told residents and passersby to plan for a large law enforcement and fire presence clustered around the complex.
